Anisic acid

P-Anisic acid is derived from the anise plant. Anisic acid has limited solubility in water. Solubility can be enhanced pH modulation where solubility is optimum around pH 6. Higher pH converts anisic acid to a salt.

Isoamyl acetate (banana oil)

Isoamyl acetate is a colorless ester of acetic acid and isoamyl alcohol with a strong, pleasant, banana scent. It exists in bananas, apples, pears, and/or peaches. It also finds important industrial uses as a solvent for dyes, lacquers, oil paints, resins, and in dry cleaning.

Levulinic acid, CAS 123-76-2

It is soluble in water, chloroform, alcohol, and ether. Levulinic acid is naturally sourced from various renewable resources like rice straw, bagasse, hazelnut shell, wood, wheat straw, rice husk, and extracted from agrochemical industrial waste material.
