Remove excesses, shape and finish as usual. Polishing can be done with a polishing paste using polishing cups or discs.Removal of the temporary inlay (a). Insert a suitable instrument such as a probe or a scaler into the temporary inlay and extract the material from the cavity, preferably in one piece.
